Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Associates at Retail Store outlets who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the store. This role involves maintaining inventory, ensuring a positive customer experience, managing staff, and implementing strategies to meet sales targets and also plays a crucial role in creating a well-organized and customer-friendly environment.
Job Responsibility:
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Oversee stock levels and reorder merchandise as needed.
- Conduct regular stock audits to minimize discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and resolving issues.
- Maintain a visually appealing and organized store layout.
- Assist in sales activities, including product demonstrations or promotions.
- Achieve sales targets by actively engaging with customers.
- Manage cash transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures.
- Process sales transactions promptly and efficiently.
- Receive incoming stock and verify against purchase orders.
- Implement security measures to prevent theft or loss.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Generate and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
- Communicate any issues or observations to the higher management.
- Execute in-store promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in creating awareness about new products or campaigns.
- Ensure the store is clean and well-maintained at all times.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree.
- Freshers are also welcomed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in retail sales and organization skills preferred
- Knowledge and passion for sustainability and fair-trade practices
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
