Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Laboratory Technician for a clinics to
manage sample collection, testing, reporting, and coordination with medical professionals.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on laboratory experience and strong attention to detail
while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect samples from adults and pediatric patients
- Receive, label, process, store, and preserve laboratory samples
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as required
- Set up, calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Accurately record test results and prepare reports
- Present data and findings to senior staff and pathologists
- Coordinate with the Pathologist for review, approval, and dispatch of reports
- Communicate with referral doctors and nurses regarding critical values
- Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the laboratory
- Requirements
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or equivalent qualification
- 2–3 years of relevant laboratory experience
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Konkani
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting
- Must be residing in South Goa
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities efficiently
