Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Operations Lead to oversee the end-to-end order management process and ensure seamless coordination between customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing customer orders, commercial documentation, and cross-functional communication to ensure timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. This position requires strong commercial acumen, excellent coordination skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage the complete order lifecycle, from order receipt to dispatch and delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, quotations, and commercial queries.
- Prepare and manage quotations, order confirmations, proforma invoices, and other commercial documents.
- Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and service requests while coordinating resolutions with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales data, and commercial documentation.
- Support the Sales team in customer relationship management and business development initiatives.
- Generate and analyze sales, order, and customer service reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and customer-specific requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and commercial processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Customer Service, Sales Coordination, Commercial Operations, or Order Management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good commercial and business acumen.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Tally ERP and order management systems will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
