Overview :
We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the Bhavnagar region. The role involves driving I-Media marketing activities, generating leads, managing channel partners, conducting daily field visits, and achieving business targets. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication, sales acumen, and the ability to manage customer and channel relationships effectively.
Job Responsibilities :
- Drive I-Media marketing activities across the assigned territory.
- Promote and sell I-Media services at designated bus stations within the zone.
- Generate leads, follow up daily with prospects, and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Conduct 8–10 field visits per day for sales promotions, client meetings, and conversions.
- Monitor, check, and report bus station health in coordination with the support engineer.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through both media agencies and direct clients.
- Ensure channel partners are active, productive, and aligned with business goals.
- Identify requirements for new or replacement channel partners to strengthen the network.
- Ensure all assigned locations are healthy, active, and revenue-ready.
- Analyze channel partner performance and initiate improvement strategies.
- Understand key customer requirements and deliver accurate, timely solutions.
- Support other managers with joint account activities and contribute to group target achievement.
- Ensure timely delivery of correct products, offers, and services to customers.
- Focus on new business acquisition as well as renewal and retention of existing customers.
- Utilize CRM software for customer tracking, follow-ups, documentation, and reporting.
Job Requirements:
- The candidate should have a BBA, MBA, or a graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of total experience, with 2 years of relevant experience.
- The candidate must be proficient in Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
- The position requires strong skills in sales data analytics.
- The candidate should demonstrate good leadership ability.
- The role requires strong prospecting and lead-generation skills.
- The candidate must possess effective time-management capabilities.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for this role.
- The candidate should be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The role requires the ability to perform upselling and cross-selling.
- The candidate must be capable of making data-driven decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- The candidate should have working knowledge of CRM software.
- Product knowledge relevant to the industry is preferred.
