Job Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Sales Head to drive business growth for Media Retail, an innovative audio-visual advertising platform operating through passenger announcement systems at State Transport bus terminals across India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new corporate clients, building strong relationships with media agencies and brand teams, and managing the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure and collections. This leadership role requires a strategic, target-driven professional with extensive experience in corporate sales and business development.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate clients and advertising agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, advertising firms, and corporate marketing and brand communication teams.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, presentations, proposal preparation, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent business opportunities.
- Drive upselling opportunities by promoting activation campaigns and digital marketing solutions.
- Lead business development initiatives and expand the client base across target markets.
- Monitor sales performance, revenue generation, and collections to ensure business objectives are achieved.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team while ensuring adherence to organizational processes and systems.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA/BBA preferred.
- Proven experience in senior sales or business development roles, preferably in media, advertising in audio visuals.
- Strong network within media agencies, corporate marketing teams, and brand communication professionals.
- Demonstrated success in corporate account acquisition and revenue generation.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Experience in managing the complete sales lifecycle, from prospecting to collections.
- Good understanding of media sales, advertising solutions, and integrated marketing services.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
