Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the Exhibition & Events division as a
profit center. The role involves driving revenue growth, business development, client
acquisition, and managing end-to-end event operations for the Gulf market, particularly the
UAE. The candidate should have strong industry connections within the UAE exhibition
ecosystem and a proven track record in scaling event businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Exhibition & Events division and drive overall business growth.
- Achieve revenue and profitability targets through business development and client acquisition.
- Identify new opportunities in exhibitions, trade shows, corporate events, and experiential marketing.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, venues, contractors, and suppliers.
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, budgeting, vendor management, and onsite delivery.
- Monitor P&L, cost control, and financial performance of the division.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage teams across sales, operations, and project management.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums in the UAE and GCC region.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the UAE exhibitions and events industry.
- Experience managing a business unit or P&L.
- Strong network within Dubai’s exhibition ecosystem
- Proven track record in revenue growth and client acquisition (venues, contractors, Corporate clients).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
