Job Overview
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and executing all electrical works at the project site. The role includes managing internal electrical installations, coordinating with contractors and site teams, monitoring materials, and ensuring that all electrical activities are completed as per quality, safety, and project timelines for residential or commercial construction projects such as high-rise buildings, villas, and
low-rise developments.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute internal electrical works including slab and wall conduiting, wiring, and earthing.
- Manage electrical installations in residential buildings such as high-rise towers, villas, and low-rise projects.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and execute work according to approved GFC drawings.
- Coordinate with civil, plumbing, and electrical contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Plan and mobilize manpower, materials, and machinery required for site activities.
- Monitor daily work progress and ensure tasks are completed within project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct weekly physical checks of electrical materials and maintain stock records.
- Prepare daily progress reports, measurement details, and point inventory reports.
- Maintain DG logbook and material issue records.
- Assist the Electrical Engineer in preparation of contractor bills (PRW / IRW).
- Prepare and submit as-built drawings of completed electrical work.
- Coordinate daily with site teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve issues.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in electrical work.
- Experience in residential or commercial building projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and site execution
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Team supervision and contractor coordination
- Material management and documentation
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Timely completion of electrical work as per project schedule
