Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified pharmacist who will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on their proper use, managing inventory and maintaining records in compliance with regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Dispensing prescription medications to patients
- Ensuring the accuracy of prescription details and verifying that patients receive the correct medication and dosage
- Providing advice to patients on the proper use of medication, including dosage, side effects, and potential interactions with other medications or health conditions
- Monitoring medication inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of all medication transactions, including dispensing, inventory, and other administrative tasks
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care
- Participating in ongoing professional development activities to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in pharmaceuticals and pharmacy practice
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution
- Registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council
- 0-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi and Regional language
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and standards Computer proficiency with basic knowledge of pharmacy software.
