Overview:
We are hiring a Purchase Assistant to support procurement operations and ensure accurate record-keeping of materials required for production. The role involves maintaining purchase data, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and transporters, and supporting procurement-related activities through ERP systems. The position plays an important role in ensuring smooth procurement aligned with production requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain and accurately enter procurement and purchase data in ERP software, including preparation of purchase orders.
• Verify procurement records by cross-checking with source documents and resolving discrepancies.
• Retrieve and compile purchase-related data from paper records, electronic files, and databases as required by the Production department.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, charts, and data analysis to support decision-making.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of purchase orders, supplier details, inventory levels, and other procurement-related information as per ISO standards.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and data confidentiality requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and transporters to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Liaise with the Production team to align procurement activities with ongoing and upcoming production plans.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in procurement tasks.
• Support dispatch-related functions when required.

Job Requirements:
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Any Graduate).
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and procurement-related software.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with teams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role such as • • Data Entry Operator or Assistant in procurement or production environments.
• Must be a local resident of Mumbai and willing to work from office (no remote work option).
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining dashboards using Power BI and/or Advanced Excel.
• Certifications related to procurement or data management will be an added advantage.
