Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Educational Counselor to join a reputed Educational Consultancy Firm. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in educational consultancy, specifically in the study abroad domain, and be skilled at advising students and parents about study opportunities abroad. You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
and have a high level of proficiency in computer-based tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Student and Parent Counseling : Guide and advise students and their parents on study abroad opportunities, including available courses, universities, and admission procedures.
- Personalized Academic Sessions: Conduct one-on-one sessions to help students make well informed decisions about their academic future abroad.
- Application & Visa Assistance: Assist students with the application process, including university applications, visa documentation, and providing guidance on scholarships.
- Digital & Administrative Support: Utilize MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication to track student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaboration & Strategy : Work closely with the team to refine counseling strategies, enhance student outreach efforts, and improve overall service delivery.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in study abroad consultancy or a similar role.
- Education: Preferably a Post Graduate qualification.
- Languages: Fluency in English is a must. Proficiency in Hindi and Konkani will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of exams like GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, Scholarships available, SOP, LORs, Visa formalities etc.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and data while ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Female Candidate preferred.
