Sales Executive – IT & Software Solutions

Overview

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and securing new sales opportunities. This role requires a proactive and results-driven professional with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of sales strategies and be committed to contributing to the company’s overall revenue goals.

Job Responsibilities : 

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation :
    • Identify and target potential clients through various channels (calls, emails, networking, social media, etc.).
    • Conduct thorough market research to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Lead Identification & Qualification:
    • Use tools and databases to identify and qualify prospective leads.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to define and refine the ideal customer profile.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management :
    • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
    • Present product and service offerings effectively to address client needs.
    • Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution :
    • Develop and execute effective sales plans to drive revenue growth.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Customer Support & Retention :
    • Provide prompt support and resolution to client queries.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Reporting & Analysis :
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts.
    • Analyze sales data to identify patterns, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Market Research :
    • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends.
    • Identify potential sectors and clients for business expansion.
  • Outreach & Engagement :
    • Reach out to prospective clients through calls, emails, and professional platforms.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings for further engagement.
  • Database Management :
    • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate and current client information.
    • Track the progress and outcomes of sales activities.
  • Collaboration :
    • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product, and operations.
    • Provide feedback to improve sales performance and lead quality.

Job Requirements: 

  • Education : MBA  in Sales & Marketing. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and customer behavior.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
