Overview:
We are hiring a Technical Support professional to provide on-field technical assistance along with the Sales team. The role involves handling customer queries, conducting product demonstrations, resolving application-related issues, and ensuring customers clearly understand the functionality and benefits of industrial coating products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accompany Sales personnel to customer sites to provide technical support and assistance.
- Handle customer queries and explain product features, applications, and benefits in detail.
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product application and usage.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve common application defects occurring after product application.
- Collect customer feedback and share insights to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical support activities.
- Coordinate with R&D and Quality Control teams to stay updated on product developments and improvements.
- Provide remote technical support through phone or email when on-site visits are not possible.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure continued satisfaction and resolve emerging issues.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining demonstration equipment and materials.
- Participate in technical workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance product knowledge.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Chemicals, Chemistry, Paint Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical support or application support roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and simple manner.
- Knowledge of industrial paint applications and surface preparation processes.
- Experience in handling customer complaints and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Strong planning, execution, and collaboration skills.
- Must be a local resident of Mumbai.
- Willingness for long-term commitment.
